In short

This website sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or advertising services and loads nothing from third-party servers. Fonts and scripts are served from our own webspace. Unless you click something or type something, nothing leaves your device beyond the technically necessary page request.

Accessing the site and server log files

When you open the page, our hosting provider automatically processes data your browser transmits: IP address, date and time, the file requested, the amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the page and keep it running securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the stable and secure operation of the website. Logs are deleted or truncated after 30 days at the latest.

Hosting and delivery: Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. The site is delivered through Vercel's content delivery network, and requests from Europe are normally answered from a European location. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel.

Transfer to the USA. Vercel is a US company, so processing of connection data in the USA cannot be ruled out. The transfer is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. US authorities can under certain conditions access data stored there without the same legal protection that applies in the EU. This concerns only the technical connection data described above; whatever you type into this site is not transmitted.

Fonts and scripts

The fonts used (Saira, Archivo) and the motion libraries (Lenis, GSAP) are loaded from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or to any content delivery network and no data is transferred to third parties.

What your browser stores

We set no cookies. The page stores two technical values in your browser's local storage:

These values contain no personal data, are never transmitted to us, and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. The legal basis is § 25(2)(2) TDDDG, as the storage is strictly necessary for the service you requested.

The text field on the home page

Whatever you write into the field “What is it?” stays in your browser and is not sent to us. Only if you then click “Book 30 minutes” is the text passed to the booking form as a note — you see it there before you submit and can delete it.

Booking through Cal.com

The “Book 30 minutes” button leads to cal.com, a service of Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4667, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. You leave this website only when you click; nothing is transmitted to Cal.com before that. On their page you enter your name, email address and preferred slot in order to book. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract). The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Details in Cal.com's privacy policy: cal.com/privacy.

Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your details solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed, at the latest when statutory retention periods expire.

Recipients and transfers to third countries

Apart from Vercel as our hosting provider, our email provider and, after your click, Cal.com, we do not pass your data on. It is never passed on for advertising purposes.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to martin@ai-traction.de is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
